It’s about to get hot and humid and the desire to hop in the pool or go hang on the beach is going to go up ten fold!!
I don’t know about you but even when I’m going to enjoy the outdoors for a lil FUN IN THE SUN one thing that worries me is the longevity of my makeup!!! Is it gonna with stand the heat, the humidity, the sweat and the water!?!?
I’m here to share my tips and tricks!!! Mind you these are tried and true as I have been using this technique for over 10 years for myself, my brides, my clients and especially for my beauties who have underwater photo shoots taken!!!
*Disclaimer I do not claim waterproof as the products are not made to be waterproof but I’d go as far as to say water resistant following the steps and using products below!!!

Let’s get down to it!!
Step 1:
This step is only necessary if you are going to be out in the sun. Apply
Lumière de Vie® Daily Brightening Broad Spectrum SPF 50. Let that dry down at least 3-5 min.
Step 2:
Spray
Skintelligence PH Normalizer on the skin.
Step 3: Apply
VitaShield C & E Moisturizer (I use this as it is a gel formula that will penetrate the skin better for hydration and longevity also because it’s good for all skin types) if you have oily skin, I’d use the
Skintelligence Alpha 24 Moisturizer instead.
Step 4: Apply the
Motives Complexion Perfection primer all over the face.
Step 5: Apply
Motives Insta-Smooth on the entire face.
Step 6: Conceal using
Motives Sculpting Concealer.
Step 7:
Apply the
Motives Flawless Stick Foundations or the
Motives Liquid Mineral Foundation and any other cream products that you may be using to contour or apply blush with.
Tip:
The Motives Flawless Stick Foundation sticks blend beautifully as a contour and our
Essential Collection Palettes have gorgeous cream blushes in them.
Step 8:
Spray with
Motives 10 Years Younger let dry spraying again let it dry a couple of seconds then press the 10 years younger in with the
Motives Blending Sponge.
Step 9:
Set with
Motives Dual Powder.
Step 10: Spray with
Motives 10 years Younger let dry spraying again let it dry a couple of seconds then press the 10 years Younger in with the Motives Blending Sponge.
Step 11: Do your eyes, over your blush with a powder blush, add powder highlight, using any palettes your heart desires but these are some of my favs:
Bossbabe
Goal Digger
Essentials Palette v1 and v2
Add in your brows using
Motives Brow Gel,
Motives Brow Pencil and or
Motives Brow Kit.
Apply your lipstick for long wear I recommend any of our
Motives Liquid Lipsticks.
Then repeat spray with Motives 10 Years Younger let dry spraying again let it dry a couple of seconds then press the 10 Years Younger in with the Motives Blending Sponge.
And spray one more time for insurance!!
My only recommendation is
DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE lol let the sweat, tears and water just roll and dry down!
Once you start rubbing and tugging the oils on your fingers will breakdown the makeup and we are trying to stay flawless for our FUN IN THE SUN!!!
