Here at Motives, we strive to empower people everywhere to look and feel beautiful inside and out and provide people with an opportunity to live the lifestyle they have always dreamed of. I recently interviewed Beauty Advisor Martine Alexis. She has incorporated Motives Beauty Brand's products and tools to grow into a beautypreneur. Martine is breaking boundaries with custom blend and continues to build her empire with others. Way to go, Martine! Thank you for inspiring us and constantly helping women around you to succeed.
How were you introduced to Motives?
To be honest, I was not introduced to Motives directly. A friend of mine had asked me to evaluate a business and that’s how I found Motives. I’ve always been passionate about beauty and makeup so after the evaluation it really caught my attention and ever since then I fell in love with Motives.
What made you want to learn more and eventually align yourself with Motives?
How have you leveraged the training & events to build your belief to propel your success?
Our company's culture has always prioritized education and training. For me to stay updated, I followed our Motives Cosmetics Official Pro-Partners on Facebook which allowed me to stay up to date on any training or events that’s taking place. It has helped and pushed me to gain more knowledge and confidence on how to apply what I’ve learned. Our Global Meeting Training Seminar System (GMTSS), also known as GMTSS, is another alternative available to us. We could see where a class will be held in person or remotely using the training system. I love that we have these options because it means that everyone can acquire the training, they need to be successful.
In what ways has incorporating Motives into your business changed things for you?
What do you feel is the best way to expand your Motives team?
Motives has given us the opportunity to grow our team by connecting us with Pro-Artists and the Motives Apprentices program. My mission is to find teens who enjoy makeup and dream of owning a business. Many times, parents cannot afford to send their children to a cosmetology school. I want them to know that there are other options available to them, and that they may work from home and earn extra money while having fun. I'd also like to expand by assisting other makeup artists, aestheticians, cosmetologists, hair stylists, and anyone in the beauty business who wants to supplement their income. Finally, I've always been told that the greatest way to expand is to be the product of the product, continually putting myself out by leveraging social media so that others can't help but notice my growth and my success in the business. In a nutshell we have all the tools and training that we need to succeed.
What are you most excited about regarding long-term goals?
The income levels mentioned are for illustration purposes only. They are not intended to represent the income of a typical Market America UnFranchiseOwner, nor are they intended to represent that any given UnFranchise Owner will earn income in that amount. The success of any Market America UnFranchise Owner will depend upon the amount of hard work, talent, and dedication which he or she devotes to building his or her Market America Business.
