Oprah's 2024 Golden Globes Makeup

Oprah showcased another show stopping purple look at the 2024 Golden Globes. Celebrity Makeup Artist & Motives Beauty Advisor Derrick Rutledge.


In an article by the Daily Mail, the A-lister's celebrity makeup artist & Motives Beauty Advisor Derrick Rutledge was quoted, 'After seeing the gown, I immediately went into my creative mode to figure out what my look would be to complement the breathtaking gown!' 


Derrick wanted all eyes to be on the fancy frock, which he called a 'showstopper,' while keeping the beauty look - done in shades of lavender - soft and subtle. 


Oprah Winfrey always makes a sartorial splash on the red carpet - but in recent weeks she's used her public appearances for more than just glitz and glamour. The 69-year-old attended the 2024 Golden Globes in a stunning Louis Vuitton gown - which took more than 600 hours to make and had a very sweet meaning behind it.



Oprah previously joked to People Magazine, 'I'm doing for purple what Barbie did for pink!' about her press tour outfits.
